Firm History
Mr. Olsen graduated with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1973, and served as an officer in the United States Navy for four years, before attending the University of Texas School of Law. An Articles Editor for the Texas Law Review, he graduated with honors in 1980, and served for one year as law clerk to the Honorable Homer Thornberry, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, before entering private practice.
Mr. Olsen's career path then took him from large, prominent defense firms, to a small litigation boutique, and finally to his own trial practice in downtown Dallas. Licensed to practice in both Texas and Florida, Mr. Olsen moved, in July 1997, to Jensen Beach, on the Treasure Coast, where he continues to represent businesses and individuals primarily in cases involving legal malpractice, business and civil litigation, divorce and family law, serious personal injuries and wrongful death.
The firm represents both plaintiffs and defendants, on either an hourly or contingent fee basis, depending on the nature of the case.

Divorce and family law is primarily a local practice, concentrated in Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach Counties, where Mr. Olsen is available for Contested and Uncontested Divorces, Custody Disputes, Enforcement and Contempt, Alimony and Child Support, Domestic Violence Injunctions, and Modification Actions.
